HEADLINERS RADIOHEAD AND MORRISSEY TO MAKE V FESTIVAL DEBUTS PLUS FAITHLESS, KASABIAN, BLOC PARTY & FATBOY SLIM

We are very proud to confirm that music legends Radiohead and Morrissey will both make both their V debuts as headliners at the 11th annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile. With many more artists to be announced the headline acts will be joined by a strong supporting line-up including Beck, Paul Weller, Keane, Kasabian, Bloc Party, The Charlatans, Editors, Starsailor, The Go! Team, The Ordinary Boys, Fatboy Slim, The Feeling, The Magic Numbers, Sugababes, Groove Armada, James Dean Bradfield, and Orson at the dual sited Festival 2006 on 19th – 20th August 2006. Faithless also return for an impressive 5th time and will co-headline with Morrissey.

If ever there was a reason for music fans to clear their diaries for Friday 3rd March at 9am, it’s because we have just announced four more great acts for this years 11th annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile.
Today, hot names Hard-Fi, Rufus Wainwright, Kubb and Gavin DeGraw have confirmed their appearance alongside headliners Radiohead, Morrissey and Faithless – not to mention Kasabian, Fatboy Slim and Magic Numbers. All are set to grace one of the four stages at the legendary V Festival, which on 19th-20th August, returns to Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

V Festival organisers have pulled an amazing act out the bag! Razorlight will be joining the line-up for this years 11th annual V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Mobile.
Razorlight have ripped up the rule book in their meteoric rise and will undoubtedly put on a show to remember this August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire. They are currently recording their second album for an early summer release and the 120,000 strong crowd at V will be excitedly anticipating new material to match that of chart topping hits from the 2005 Up All Night album.
Festival Director Bob Angus commented:
“We’re thrilled to have Razorlight headlining the second stage. They have come so far over the last year and it will be great for V fans to see them rocking out on tracks from Up All Night’ and performing their new material live”.
