I hear what you’re saying and it hasn’t been the first time we’ve heard this. I wish you all the best sorting the total mess out that Easy Jap Parts has left you with, if that’s REALLY the case.

Though only time will tell if the service and rubbish stock has been improved on, and that’s got nothing to do with me.

I really do hope that it has complete new management, but knowing a bit about the “previous” director and they way he worked makes me, and the person who sent me this information think otherwise about this one.

Make sure you’re providing a good service and good stock and it’ll not get around the net.

On the same note, checkout the ‘Streisand effect’. You really don’t want to start proceeding with ‘hiding’ information online.

Have just ordered a part from this company, via a internet find a part site. Have been verbally told it is guaranteed if the head fails a pressure test. Already have one cracked head. Only read this after ordering and paying for the item – hope this will all b ok!

  5. Richard says:

Is Midland Jap Parts Ltd still in business? I’ve been trying to contact them for a few days now, to chase up a refund payment they owe me (latest was today, July 31 2009), and the phone just keeps ringing before it cuts off.

  6. Kim says:

Jap Parts are very much to be avoided; no refunds as they say they have no money ..be warned. All you get when you return goods is a pathetic note saying they are unable to pay, so pass the note to your bank!!

  7. David says:

  8. Raging Bull says:

Yep,I have been stung as well, used 247 spares website for 2 x captain seats for a Toyota Lucia,Contacted by this mob who stated they had the parts.I went in depth with the girl on the phone to explain exactly what I required and that only seats from a “G” spec lucida will fit.Paid £115 for next day delivery. You guessed it nothing turned up!On the phone we go and promised next day delivery (What About Today’s Delivery)when I asked what the tracking number and the courier firm they stated APC.My wife rang APC and they confirmed no pick up from MJP.Nothing of course arrived,On the phone again and now the courier is called Jimmys, who indecently could not guarentee delivery as he was trying to bury his mother (Low Life Or What) strange that seeing as when you credit card is debited its “Jimmys Jap Parts” Eventually after 7 Days Hooray I get a delivery.1 X Captain seat (I paid for 2) and no shit it was not going to fit my Estima.I have refused the delivery with courier, contacted My Credit card Company, trading standards and my solicitor.I refused delivery on the 18.08.09 and contacted MJP who assure me a full refund will be made,(Hasn’t happened yet)they have till the 11.09.09 to refund me or proceedings against them will kick in to action.”If You Ever Use the Web for Spares” Check the Company before parting with your hard earned Cash and be aware this mob are continually changing there name and staring up as yet another LTD company but always use the same address.DONT USE THEM

  11. dawn says:

midland jap parts 1603 pershore road stirchley birmingham i bought it through foreign car spares dawn

  12. Dan Freakley says:

    Dawn,

It might be the same firm with a different name. But it might be a different company (like 247spares.co.uk) that just get the parts from Midland Jap Parts.

Either way you have been ripped off. If you paid via credit card, claim it ALL back!

    Good luck.

  14. mikee2247 says:

    maybe this will help
    Getting your money back
Under Sale of Goods, if the goods are poor quality, unfit or not as described, you may be eligible for an immediate refund, although no definitive timescale is mentioned beyond ‘reasonable time’. Under a distance selling contract, your 7 day cooling off period entitles you to a refund within 30 days. If you have not received the goods and suspect you may have been the victim of fraud, you can take it up with your credit card company (provided you paid on credit card and certain conditions are met), or invoke the Visa Debit Chargeback procedure. If the supplier becomes insolvent before your goods or services are delivered, you may have little recourse other than to be added to a list of creditors.

  15. dawn says:

carnt believe it ive got my money back and blocked the card so they carnt ask for it again , ive got a good mind to phone that nasty man and rub his nose in it

  16. dawn says:

i am going to report these people tomorrow to the trading standed and the tax man and every one else i can think of

  17. gareth says:

do not touch this company, very unreliable and dishonest, stay well clear

  18. Raging Bull says:

Hi Guys, since my last comments of the 21/08/09 I have been harrasing this mob at least twice a week for my money back.On the 07/09/09 I advised them that their 30 days where up to refund my money and that my cedit card company wll be pursing them from 11/09/09 unless funds where in my account by the 11/09/09.I have today received a refund,so you need to keep bnging away at these people and if they see that you are not going to let the issue rest you may be as fortunate as me.Regards Tony

  19. We used my credit card as a partner in American Autoparts to obtain a used gearbox for a customer’s Nissan (they continue to use us although he no longer has an American vehicle).

We were assured by Midland Jap Parts the box would fit, but no, it was wrong, and we refused delivery by their carrier.
It took three weeks to get a refund for the box, but we are unable to get the £44.00 carriage charge back and it is NOT covered by the credit card guarantees applicable to consumers and / or the sale ofgoods
    act.

  20. Dan Freakley says:

    Midland Jap Parts?

  21. kris Byatt says:

Midland Jap Parts is the same company as Easy Jap Parts phoned up just after they changed the name to get my £2400 the court awarded me and all the same people were on the phones the same people on the company register at companies house but I can’t get my money! The whole lot of them ought to marched out into the street and shot!

  22. lynsay bry says:

I was just about to order a landcruiser gearbox for £550 when i come across this website thankfully.

We have the same address for the company as other people however there name is now Used Jap Parts apparently.

the number we have is 0121 4590077

  23. *issed off says:

Hi Dan did you get my earlier post.
    thanks

  24. Dan Freakley says:

Scour this blog and you’ll find all you need. Note the dates for the information you write down though.

Their trading address has never changed, nor the staff it seems, it’s just the business name. It’s a con.

They rob people via a business and then sell all the assets to another business in their name and close the old down with its debt and “old” customers.

    They should go to prison.

  25. Khany K says:

This company is an absolute sham!!! SERIOUSLY, do not ever buy off this company, you order a part and they send you the wrong one, when you ring and complain they tell lies upon lies and feed you with absolute BULLSHIT! Scamming bastardss! Only get parts off these if u have the money to waste cos you aint gonna be getting what you need, the cheek of them is that they lie and tell you they sent the right one then blame you that you didnt order properly, personally had to go down and get the part! NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.. 100% FRAUDSTERS PLS BE CAREFUL…
Also beware, they bankrupt often and change the name of the company, if you want to be buy part from bham make sure you do the research so it isnt these scum! I am going to be reporting to Trading standards..
They are now MIDLAND JAP PARTS but on websites just JAP PARTS, the address is 1603 pershore road, jus beware its not this address
    Bless take care all
